I am an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister in final fellowship specializing in critical incident response, trauma, and disaster spiritual care.
Currently located in St. Louis, Missouri, I am a board member and responder with the Unitarian Universalist Trauma Response Ministry and serve as the director of the Unitarian Universalist House of Studies and an adjunct professor at Eden Theological Seminary. As a UU community minister I am available to work with all the local UU congregations for weddings, funerals and pulpit supply. A recent transplant from New York City, I served five years as the executive director for Disaster Chaplaincy Services, where I continue as their consultant for training and deployment.
During the 9/11 recovery, I volunteered as a chaplain at St. Paul’s Chapel at the World Trade Center site and have continued to respond to local and national crises including floods, building collapses, fatal shootings and airline disasters.
I am an Approved Instructor with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and received my Master’s of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York.
